Day 1 UK to Phnom Penh

Day 2 Arrive Phnom Penh
Upon arrival at Phnom Penh Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure, to relax or explore the local area.
Day 3 Phnom Penh (BL)
Following breakfast at your hotel, join a city tour. Start at the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, the most sacred shrine in the country, where 5,000 silver tiles cover the floor. Continue to the National Museum filled with Khmer art and sculpture. In the afternoon, following lunch, visit the moving Genocide Museum, a reminder of the Khmer Rouge regime, offering an insight into how the country has developed since this difficult time. End the day with a stroll along the Mekong, and a cocktail with scenic views.
Day 4 To Battambang (BL)
Enjoy breakfast before starting your morning drive to Battambang, located to the north-west of Phnom Penh. On the way, visit a traditional floating village by boat, as well as a local pottery village. On arrival in Battambang, check-in to your hotel.
Day 5 Battambang (BLD)
Today, you get to experience the real Battambang, starting with an enjoyable half-hour ride aboard the Bamboo Train, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, visit a local vineyard and winery, and maybe sample some produce, before dinner.
Day 6 To Siem Reap (BL)
Have a tasty hotel breakfast, before your drive to Siem Reap, which will take around 3 hours. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and make the most of your afternoon at leisure in this fantastic location.
Day 7 Siem Reap and Temples (BL)
Visit the impressive Angkor Wat Temple complex. Spend time exploring the main temple, before heading to a quiet corner of the complex for a tasty picnic lunch. In the afternoon, travel around the rural countryside of Siem Reap by vintage army Jeep, and witness the local rural life. Return to your hotel and relax before your evening at the renowned Phare Circus Show.
Day 8 Siem Reap and Temples (BL)
Breakfast at your hotel is followed by a morning visit to Banteay Srei, made of magnificently carved red sandstone, the jewel of Khmer art, to meet the chef who will take you on a cookery adventure. Explore the market, learn about the ingredients and cook some traditional Khmer dishes in a beautiful villa garden. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Thom, the Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm Temple,
unlike most other Angkor temples, it has been left just as it was when discovered, overgrown by the jungle.
Day 9 Fly to UK (B)
Transfer to Siem Reap airport for your flight to the UK, or extend your holiday to Sihanoukville.
Day 9 Fly to Sihanoukville
Fly to Sihanoukville and transfer to your hotel for a three night stay.
Days 10-11 Sihanoukville (B)
Enjoy a daily hotel breakfast, before spending the rest of the time relaxing on Sihanoukville’s white sand beaches, and swimming in the calming waters.
Day 12 Fly to UK (B)
Transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for your flight back to the UK.
