Day 1 UK to Hanoi

Catch your flight from London Heathrow to Hanoi. Flights from regional airports are also available on request.

Day 2 Arrive Hanoi

Upon arrival at Hanoi Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel, where you can indulge in a relaxing spa treatment. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 Hanoi City Tour (BL)

Following breakfast at your hotel, join a  Hanoi City Tour, and visit the Temple of Literature, the Museum of Ethnology, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his former residence, and the One-Pillar Pagoda. You will also be able to enjoy a one-hour Cyclo tour through the city’s Old Quarter, followed by a sunset cocktail on the rooftop of the Lotte Centre Hanoi.

Day 4 Hanoi to Halong Bay by Seaplane (BLD)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before an exhilarating flight by seaplane, over picturesque landscapes, to Halong Bay, for a relaxing cruise around the bay, and a visit to the Surprise Cave.

Day 5 Halong Bay Cruise (BLD)

Wake up for an early morning Tai Chi lesson and breakfast, followed by a visit to a local island, and the chance to explore the national park with a guide.

Day 6 Halong Bay to Hue (B)

After breakfast, visit the colourful Cua Van floating village by bamboo boat, and join a Vietnamese traditional tea ceremony, before transferring to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Hue. On arrival, you will be met and taken to your hotel to check-in.

Day 7 Tour of Hue (BL)

Your tour of Hue begins, after breakfast in the hotel, by visiting the Imperial Citadel and the Cat Tuong Quan retreat. An organic lunch is followed by a short meditation walk, and an exploration of Thuy Bieu by bicycle. Go to see the imperial tomb of Tu Duc, before being treated to a chilled champagne aperitif.

Day 8 Hue to Hoi An (BL)

Drive to Hoi An, stopping at a small fishing village for a boat ride and lunch. Continue to Lang Co Bay and over the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An.

Day 9 Hoi An Free Day (BL)

Today is free at leisure to explore this fascinating city at your own pace.

Day 10 Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City (BL)

Enjoy a few hours at leisure, until your transfer to Danang Airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel to check-in.

Day 11 Mekong River Cruise (BLD)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the Mekong Delta to board your private sampan, for an enjoyable cruise along the delightful backwaters.

Day 12 Mekong Delta to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Following a tasty breakfast aboard your sampan, visit vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market, before returning to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13 Fly to Siem Reap (B)

Fly to Siem Reap, chick-in at your hotel, and join a short orientation tour in the afternoon.

Day 14 Siem Reap (BL)

Following breakfast, uncover the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, before continuing to the Ta Prohm Temple, Preah Khan and Banteay Kdei. In the afternoon visit the great Angkor Wat, for a magnificent sunset view over this historic temple.

Day 15 Siem Reap (BL)

Enjoy a morning cooking class and learn how to prepare traditional Khmer dishes, under the guidance of our chef. In the afternoon, visit Les Artisans D’ Angkor, a workshop that teaches the unique craft of wood and stone carving. Afterwards, there is an easy bicycle ride to Tonle Sap Lake for a boat trip on this scenic lake.

Day 16 Fly to Phnom Penh (B)

Following breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival, check-in at your hotel before joining an afternoon walking tour, which will take you to the National Museum, Wat Ounalom, Phsar Kandal and Phsar Chas. Continue to the atmospheric night market, the historic French Quarter and impressive Wat Phnom, before heading to the river, for a drink at the renowned Foreign Correspondents Club.

Day 17 Phnom Penh (BLD)

Marvel at the majestic Royal Palace, built in 1866, and continue to the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artefacts. In the afternoon, following lunch, you will have the chance to see the moving Killing Fields, and poignant Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. This evening you will be treated to a delicious dinner aboard the Golden Cruise, on the Chaktomuk River.

Day 18 Fly to UK (B)

Enjoy breakfast and the last moments of your trip, before your transfer to Phnom Penh Airport, for your return flight to the UK.
